RBA’s Review of Payment Systems Regulation
Debanking, financial discrimination and fraudulent chargebacks are an ongoing problem for sex workers and the sex industry more broadly. In this submission, I urge the Reserve Bank of Australia to prioritise these issues as part of its Review of Payment Systems Regulation.

Inquiry into anti-LGBTIQA+ hate crimes in Victoria
Embarking on a two year police accountability journey, I ensured that there were two findings that police had failed me after I attempted to report a violent gay hate crime. Both Victoria Police’s Professional Standards Command and the Victims of Crime Commissioner found that police had failed me after they failed to investigate my report of a violent anti-gay assault in 2024.

I urged the parliament to enhance police accountability by introducing a Police Ombudsman. The Final Report noted my request on pages 23-24, but opted to instead recommend the establishment of a Scrutiny Panel (see Finding 16 and Recommendation 15).
